I feel very lucky to be able to add this fine gentle buck to my herd. He is just the addition I was looking for. He's a big boy! He excells in length of body, levelness over the top and size. Allusion attended his first show ever in May 2005 at the Buck Extravaganza and was awarded his first grand champion leg! He picked up his second and third legs at shows in 2006! At five years old, Allusion was taken to a show in 2007 where he was BBIS in both rings!! His ancestors include many fine animals in the Celtic-Knot herd in Ohio. Please visit them at http://www.celticknotlm.com. Allusion most improves feet and legs, length and rear udder attachment. Most of his sons and daughter look just like him, even down to his coloring!

2007 Reserve All American 3 and 4 year old buck!

I am sad to announce that we lost Tybalt to pneumonia on August 25, 2007. He will be greatly missed not only for his genetics but also for his sweet, easy-going personality. He will live on through his three daughters in the herd and several other daugthers in other herds. He was mostly a "doe kid" buck, so there are very few, if any, sons.

Having Tybalt here helps soften the blow after loosing her sire in early 2006. Tybalt is not a huge buck, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in capacity! A nice blending of his dams over all power and his sires length and dairyness. Tybalt attended his first show of 2006 at the Mid State Dairy Goat Show and picked up a Reserve Championship! He has reserve champion several times in 2006 and once in 2007 already. Hopefully one of these days he will not be a "bridesmaid" anymore =). His kids in 2006 are looking great!! They have improved levelness, width and bone over their dams. His first daughter, Rosie, has freshened with one of the best udders ever bred by Thunder Hills!

2007 Reserve All American Yearling Buck!!

Thunder Struck or "Jr" as he has been dubbed- is the newest addition to the herd from the Backlash Farm herd. He is a son of the great "Rainman" who was used here before being sold to Backlash Farms. Jr was the Jr Champion at the LaMancha Specialty in Madera and at the Watsonville Fourth of July show. He is a nice blending of his sire's general appearance and his dam's length and dairy character. His first kids are here and they look amazing! Check out the 2007 kids page to see his first kid crop.
